George is the founder and director for GHG Consulting. A S&P Global and Amazon veteran, he is an experienced business developer and program manager who creates, ideates and sells products both in the UK and internationally.

Having spent many years working in the global supply chain and logistics markets, in both the ocean-going and on-land sectors, he has built a wide network of contacts in the pursuit of decarbonising the sector and providing open, honest and transparent information to all his clients.

George's particular interests and focuses are on energy, logistics and sustainability, although many of his projects have been much more wide-reaching than this. He is a skilled and natural public speaker, having presented at conferences around the world, and his key skill is the distilling of information and complex issues into manageable sizes. He has been featured extensively on the BBC, the Financial Times, as well as trade publications around the world.

With his skills as a natural communicator, he has conducted roundtables with clients at major corporations to better understand the nuances of the shipping markets, and created bespoke reports for C-Suites of FTSE 100 and S&P Global 500 companies to enlighten them on key market dynamics and functions.

At S&P Global, George led the container shipping team, growing in both size and revenue under his management, before moving to Amazon to pursue business development opportunities and client engagement and satisfaction metrics to further drive success.

George's academic background is a BSc in Geology from Cardiff University, paving the way to a career in the energy and sustainability markets.
